Sage
Sage is a woody stemmed herb with grey green leaves that flowers purple once a year. It has a strong flavour and goes well with most meats. Italians like to cook it in butter and use in pasta sauces. It gets very popular in the UK at Christmas time for making sage and onion stuffing! Our sage is grown outdoors in Italy twelve months of the year.
